Technology / Security / Operations

Tyler Seder

I design dependable technology systems that make work clearer, safer, and easier to use.

01 / Approach

I turn complicated systems into calm, usable experiences.

My work sits between technology, people, and operations. I build internal platforms, improve identity and communication systems, coordinate infrastructure, and document the path so the solution remains useful after launch.

02 / Selected work

Systems built for real people and real work.

Four connected chapters show how I move from fragmented tools and technical risk toward clear, dependable systems.

My Peachtree Portal

A focused home for the tools advisors use every day.

Problem

Advisors relied on disconnected links, documents, platforms, office details, and support paths spread across different systems.

Solution

I designed a centralized, responsive portal that organizes frequently used resources, notices, directory information, and support into one consistent experience.

Result

The final system provides mobile-friendly access, structured navigation, admin-controlled content, and a repeatable foundation for future internal tools.

  • Information architecture
  • Responsive interface
  • Admin workflow

Microsoft 365 Operations

Identity, messaging, and collaboration that behave like one system.

Identity

Access begins with clear ownership, MFA, administrative roles, lifecycle controls, and a practical least-privilege approach.

Messaging

Exchange Online, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, forwarding controls, and contact workflows support reliable communication.

Automation

PowerShell and Microsoft Graph turn repeated administration into documented, repeatable processes.

Security

Authentication, email security, DNS records, incident procedures, and user education form one connected operating model.

  • Exchange Online
  • Entra ID
  • PowerShell

Network + Office Infrastructure

Reliable connectivity with a clear operational handoff.

Normal

Primary connectivity supports the office while wireless access, staff devices, cameras, printers, and meeting systems remain visible as one operating environment.

Failover

When the primary circuit becomes unavailable, the backup path activates and keeps critical traffic moving through the secure gateway.

Recovery

After the primary circuit stabilizes, traffic returns deliberately instead of immediately bouncing between connections.

  • Dual circuits
  • Vendor coordination
  • Operational resilience

Security + Automation Lab

Hands-on environments for learning how systems fail and recover.

Discovery

Asset discovery identifies hosts, open services, and the boundaries of the environment before deeper analysis begins.

Assessment

Configuration review, vulnerability scanning, authentication analysis, and traffic inspection reveal where controls need attention.

Response

Firewall policy, account access, logging, segmentation, and documentation become practical response actions.

Verification

Controls are tested again, visibility is confirmed, and the investigation resolves into a clear technical summary.

  • pfSense + Snort
  • OpenVAS + Nmap
  • AD + PowerShell
